How to Learn the English Language and Improve one’s skills

So you want to improve your English language ability. Excellent – that means you are motivated and being motivated maybe the most important starting point.  Motivation will go a long way because it will give you energy when you feel tired and focus when you feel overwhelmed.

Now, first, what is the reason for your motivation?

Did you just move to an English speaking country, or perhaps you plan to leave your country and become an international student somewhere.  Or perhaps you want to travel somewhere and you realize that English is going to be very important because your language isn’t going to be helpful.

English like all languages is something that you must actively work on. Unfortunately - no work will mean little or no progress.  Actually, however, the least amount of work is required for listening ability – children understand language much earlier than they can speak, and so it is with adults too.

As we move up the ladder of difficulty reading is next easiest. Reading is active but it’s a kind of passive-active.   What I mean here is you have to read, so that’s active, and of course you have to think, but once you know the vocabulary it’s not a terribly painful activity.

The third and fourth hardest things to do are speak and write.  Native speakers will always say writing is the hardest but that is because they are not struggling with the language but rather the style, tone, vocabulary and many other areas of writing skill.  Even in your language this order will be the same.

So how can you learn English?  The answer is available for Free.

Just follow this link to my 7 Laws to Excellent English.

Over the next week or two you will get amazing lessons about things to do, and ways to think. After you implement my 7 Laws I guarantee you will eventually become a great English Language communicator.

Best of luck and please share any comments.

Wishing you Great Success !

Yours Sincerely,
Mike English
