I knew Mike on internet and made contact with him because I wanted him to fix my pronunciation.
Basically, we met for an hour twice a week at cafe. Sometimes I practiced English pronunciation with him, one to one. Sometimes we practiced speaking following textbooks or just enjoy talking.
It was a great time. I got more improvement than I had expected first. I could feel my English skills were improving day after day, actually.
He has many knowledges about business or finance, which was related with his past career.
Thus, he also taught me business of financial system in English picking up some articles from newspapers or magazines.
Besides, he also has many experiences to teach English to foreigners.
So he can teach people either in low level English skills or in high level.
I am so glad to meet him and satisfied with his lessons.

私はインターネットで彼の募集記事を見つけ、自分の英語の発音を矯正してもらうよう彼に依頼しました。
基本的には週二回マンハッタン内のカフェで会い、マンツーマンでの授業を一日一時間
みっちり集中して行っていました。
時には発音の練習を一時間、別の日には彼の用意した教科書に沿って会話の練習を一時間、
最後の方になるとただひたすら会話を楽しむ事が多くなりました。
予想以上の速さで自分の英語が上達していくのを自分の目で確認できるさまは
何にも替えられない喜びでした。
マイクは経済、金融に関してもとても詳しく、ビジネスに興味のあった僕は
新聞や雑誌の気になる記事を見つけては彼に英語で親切に解説してもらっていました。
マイクはまた、英語教師としての経験も豊富で、生徒の英語レベルの低い、高いに問わず
充実したレッスンを提供してくれるはずです。
僕は彼に出会えて本当に良かったし、彼の授業なしではここまで自分の満足のいく様な
英語スキルを身につける事はできなかったと思います。
マイクには感謝しているし、もっと多くの人に彼の授業を通して自分の英語が上達する
