Let's practice using Where do you live & who do you live with ?

Jose: I live in Corona, Queens.

I live here with my sister.

Her name is Quadalupe.

We call her Lupe.

Lupe is her nickname.  ( a nickname is a another name you go by)

Anna: I live in Brighton Beach, Brooklyn

I live with my brother.

His name is Alexi

We call him Alex for short.

I like the area. It is near the beach. It is very pretty.

It is like my hometown in Russia.    

(hometown - is the place you from or where you grew up and feel very close to with family and friends)

Robert: I live in Manhattan

I live in the East Village.

It is very expensive. I have 3 roommates.  (roommates are people you live with)

My sister will visit me next week.

The apartment is small so she will sleep on the sofa.

I like the area but the apartment is too small.

Yoko: I live with a family on Long Island

I only come to school on weekends.

I live in a big house with 3 little kids.

I am a babysitter. The children are very cute.

The children are 4 years old, 3 years old and 8 months.
